In 1965 Ford released to the world the unexpected Mustang. In the same year, the first U.S. combat troops land in Vietnam to fight the "American War".
In 2005 Ford released to the world the redesigned Mustang reflecting on the original design. In the same year, the U.S. continues to supply troops Iraq to fight the "War on Terrorism".
Is it me or are their parallels? Forty years we are still fighting, still driving solidified memories.
Picture is of my 1965 Ford Mustang in front of a F-105 Vietnam memorial representing those lost during combat sometime in the spring of 2000.
